The flood of 11 September 1968
A severe depression and violent thunderstorms over a period of 24 hours, over an area stretching from Diss to Gorleston, resulted in a rainfall of 12cm (4.75 inches). Many roads in the area were flooded. The result in Loddon and Chedgrave can be seen below
