RESEARCH CONTINUES

During the years of the Parish Study we managed to get samples of all sorts of documents transcribed, in particular the Loddon wills for 1800-1837. and some of the Churchwardens and Overseers Accounts. Some of the National and local Land Tax list have also been transcribed - look under Tax Lists.

We have been fortunate to have access to the deeds of some local houses, which often allow us to create the history of that building, and also add to the history of neighbouring property.

Once transcribed it becomes possible to combine the information and tell the stories of some of the people who lived here, their homes and their work.
